Day 18 of 30 Day Challenge.
I went to the Sorolla exhibition at the National Gallery today. I was particularly moved by his painting, “Shadow of Alacantra Bridge”.
Up close it was just a jumble of brush strokes. Stepping back several metres to view the painting my perspective changed and the scene became clear.
Lesson:
When I’m “in it” I don’t have clarity. I need to pause, step back, be patient and see the bigger picture.
